पंजाब और हरियाणा में महज 24 घंटे के अंदर सामने आए दो जासूसी मामलों ने पाकिस्तान के डिजिटल हनीट्रैप नेटवर्क की पोल खोल दी है। सोशल मीडिया और ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म के जरिए भारतीय नागरिकों, यहां तक कि नाबालिगों को भी निशाना बनाया जा रहा है। पठानकोट में 15 साल के एक नाबालिग को गिरफ्तार किया गया, जिसे सोशल मीडिया के जरिए पाकिस्तान से जुड़े हैंडलरों ने इमोशनल तौर पर तोड़ा। उसे यह झूठा यकीन दिलाया गया कि उसके पिता की हत्या हो चुकी है और इसी मानसिक कमजोरी का फायदा उठाकर उससे संवेदनशील जगहों के वीडियो और राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा से जुड़ी जानकारियां हासिल की गईं।
वहीं हरियाणा के अंबाला में एयरफोर्स स्टेशन में काम करने वाला एक ठेकेदार भी जासूसी के शक में पकड़ा गया है। जांच में सामने आया कि वह एक महिला के संपर्क में था, जो उससे रक्षा से जुड़ी जानकारियां मांगती थी और आगे भेजी जाती थीं। इन दोनों मामलों ने साफ कर दिया है कि सोशल मीडिया पर बनने वाले रिश्ते किस तरह भारत के खिलाफ एक खतरनाक हथियार के तौर पर इस्तेमाल किए जा रहे हैं।रोसा और भावनाओं को हथियार बना रहे हैं।
नाबालिग भी निशाने पर हैं।

A 15-year-old minor was arrested in Pathankot, who was emotionally manipulated by handlers linked to Pakistan through social media. He was falsely led to believe that his father had been murdered, and taking advantage of this mental vulnerability, videos of sensitive locations and information related to national security were obtained from him.
Meanwhile, a contractor working at the Air Force station in Ambala, Haryana, has also been apprehended on suspicion of espionage. The investigation revealed that he was in contact with a woman who demanded defense-related information from him, which was then forwarded. These two cases have made it clear how relationships formed on social media are being used as a dangerous weapon against India. They are weaponizing emotions and sentiments.
Even minors are being targeted.
