A small 9-seater IndiaOne Air aircraft crashed near Jalda, around 10–15 km from Rourkela in Odisha, while operating a flight between Rourkela and Bhubaneswar. The plane was carrying four passengers and two crew members, including Capt Naveen Kadanga and Capt Tarun Srivastava. All six onboard survived, though four passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to Rourkela Government Hospital. Eyewitnesses said the aircraft attempted an emergency landing before crashing. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed grief and assured the best medical care for the injured. Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena said a detailed investigation has been ordered to determine the cause, while authorities remain on alert and rescue teams continue to assess the situation.
