Tragedy struck Maharashtra on Wednesday morning as a plane carrying NCP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar crashed while attempting to land near Baramati airport. The 66-year-old leader died in the accident. His bodyguards were also reportedly onboard. Visuals from the site show wreckage scattered across the area, with flames and thick smoke rising from the crash site.
