In a shocking incident from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Inspector Shivakar Mishra and Constable Gaurav Dwivedi of the Sigra police station were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Team for accepting a bribe of ₹20,000. According to reports, the officers allegedly demanded money from a man named Prahlad Gupta to avoid filing a charge sheet in a matrimonial dispute case. While the constable was caught red-handed and attempted to flee by discarding the cash, he later confessed to acting on the instructions of the Sub-Inspector. Both personnel have been suspended by DCP Kashi Gaurav Banswal and are facing legal action. Notably, Sub-Inspector Shivakar Mishra has a controversial past. To know more watch the video.
