The picture regarding the BMC mayoral election in Mumbai became clear today. The BJP, confirming its alliance with the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction), announced the name of senior corporator Ritu Tawade for the mayor’s post. The deputy mayor’s position in Mumbai will go to the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction), which has nominated Sanjay Ghadi as its candidate. Both candidates filed their nominations on Saturday, the last day for filing papers. Ritu Tawade is a senior BJP corporator and has won elections from different wards three times.
मुंबई में बीएमसी मेयर चुनाव को लेकर तस्वीर आज साफ हो गई. शिवसेना शिंदे गुट के साथ गठबंधन पर मुहर लगाते हुए बीजेपी ने मेयर पद के लिए सीनियर CORPORATOR रितु तावड़े के नाम का ऐलान कर दिया. मुंबई में उप महापौर का पद शिवसेना शिंदे के खाते में जाएगा. पार्टी ने संजय घाटी को अपना उम्मीदवार बनाया है. दोनों ही प्रत्याशियों ने शनिवार को नामांकन के आखिरी दिन अपना पर्चा दाखिल किया. रितु तावड़े बीजेपी की सीनियर कारपोरेटर हैं और तीन बार अलग-अलग वार्डों से चुनाव जीत चुकी हैं
