India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Masoud Pezeshkian over the phone to discuss the worsening situation in the Middle East.
PM Modi expressed deep concern over the escalation of tensions, the loss of civilian lives, and the damage to civilian infrastructure. He also emphasized that the safety of India nationals in the region and uninterrupted transit of goods and energy remain India’s top priorities.
During the conversation, the Indian Prime Minister reiterated India’s commitment to peace and stability and stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the crisis.
