New developments have emerged in the investigation into the alleged religious conversion ring at a Nashik-based BPO. A male complainant has submitted video evidence to support his serious allegations of coercion. The footage reportedly shows one of the accused placing a skull cap on the complainant’s head during Eid in 2023, corroborating claims that he was forced to offer Namaz at a residence. While the families of the accused have dismissed these allegations as completely baseless, the probe continues to uncover new details. In a related development, another accused in the case was allegedly assaulted by inmates inside the Nashik Road Central Jail. Meanwhile, sources indicate that the absconding alleged mastermind behind the racket was not a human resources executive, but rather worked as a telecaller at the facility. The controversy, which initially began with complaints of sexual harassment and abuse, has now escalated into a broader investigation into a coordinated conversion racket operating within the company premises.
