सोचिए, एक बिल्कुल सामान्य रविवार की दोपहर… हैदराबाद से हुबली जाने वाली एक छोटी सी फ्लाइट… और उसमें बैठे 22 लोग… सब अपने-अपने काम, अपने परिवार, अपने सपनों के बारे में सोचते हुए सफर पर निकले थे। किसी को क्या पता था कि यह 90 मिनट का सफर उनकी ज़िंदगी के सबसे लंबे और डरावने 4 घंटे में बदल जाएगा…
दोपहर ठीक 3 बजे, विमान ने हैदराबाद एयरपोर्ट से उड़ान भरी। मौसम साफ था, सब कुछ सामान्य था। यात्री आराम से बैठे थे—कोई फोन पर बात कर रहा था, कोई खिड़की से बाहर बादलों का नज़ारा देख रहा था। फ्लाइट का शेड्यूल था कि शाम 4:30 बजे तक हुबली में लैंडिंग हो जाएगी।
लेकिन जैसे ही विमान हुबली के करीब पहुंचा… कहानी ने अचानक मोड़ ले लिया।
आसमान में काले बादल छा गए… तेज़ हवाएं चलने लगीं… और फिर शुरू हुआ झटकों का सिलसिला। विमान हिचकोले खाने लगा। नीचे कुछ दिखाई नहीं दे रहा था—सिर्फ घने बादल और अंधेरा। उसी वक्त पायलट को सूचना मिली कि हुबली में मौसम बेहद खराब है—भारी बारिश और विज़िबिलिटी लगभग ना के बराबर।

At exactly 3 p.m., the plane took off from Hyderabad airport. The weather was clear, and everything was normal. Passengers were sitting comfortably—some were talking on the phone, others were watching the clouds outside the window. The flight was scheduled to land in Hubli by 4:30 p.m.
But as the plane approached Hubli… the story took a sudden turn.
Dark clouds gathered in the sky… strong winds began to blow… and then a series of tremors began. The plane began to shake. Nothing could be seen below—only thick clouds and darkness. Just then, the pilot received information that the weather in Hubli was extremely bad—heavy rain and visibility was almost nil.
