मुंदिर की फौज बहुत मुश्किल में है। इधर जाते हैं तो बलोच लड़ाके वर्दी देखते ही गोली मार देते हैं। उधर जाते हैं तो टीटीपी वाले बंदूक छीन भून डालते हैं। और शहर में घुसते हैं तो आवाम कायर कायर कहकर चिल्लाती है। पाकिस्तान में सेना की हालत इतनी बदतर हो चुकी है कि हमला होने की सूरत में मुनीर ब्रिगेड भाग खड़ी होती है। मुनीर इसी बुज़दिल फौज के भरोसे हसीन सपने सजाता है। मुनीर के सिर पर मौत नाच रही है। ये दो हमले सबसे ताज़ा उदाहरण हैं कि जो बोओगे वही काटोगे। जिन बलोचों को मुनीर टैंक से कुचलने चला था उसने ही पाकिस्तानी आर्मी का घरता बना दिया। जिस टीजीटीपी को मुनीर तबाह करने चला था, उसने मुनीर ब्रिगेड की खाट खड़ी कर दी।
Munir’s army finds itself in dire straits. If they head in one direction, Baloch fighters open fire the moment they spot a uniform; if they go the other way, TTP militants seize their weapons and gun them down. And should they venture into the city, the public jeers at them, shouting “Cowards! Cowards!” The state of the military in Pakistan has deteriorated so severely that, in the event of an attack, Munir’s brigade simply turns tail and flees. Yet, it is upon this very cowardly force that Munir pins his fanciful dreams. Death now dances ominously over Munir’s head. These two recent attacks serve as the starkest examples of the adage: you reap what you sow. The very Baloch people whom Munir set out to crush beneath his tanks have instead turned the tables, cornering the Pakistani Army. And the very TTP that Munir sought to annihilate has utterly decimated Munir’s brigade.
