बंगाल में फिर बंपर मतदान हुआ है. 90 परसेंट से ज्यादा वोटिंग हुई है, भवानीपुर में 86 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा, फालटा में 89 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा वोट पड़े हैं, डायमंड हार्बर में 92 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा, संदेशखाली में 95 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ है, टॉलीगज में 87 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा और कैनिंग पूर्व में 96 प्रतिशत वोट पड़े हैं, वोटिंग प्रतिशत को सुनकर ऐसा लग रहा होगा कि बंगाल में कितने शांति से चुनाव हुआ है लेकिन बंगाल में पब्लिक जान पर खेलकर वोट डालने आई थी. बंगाल में बम चलाने की कोशिश भी हुई है और खून भी बहाया गया है.
Bengal has once again witnessed a bumper voter turnout. Polling exceeded 90 percent overall; specifically, Bhawanipur recorded over 86 percent, Falta over 89 percent, Diamond Harbour over 92 percent, and Sandeshkhali saw a 95 percent turnout. Tollygunge registered over 87 percent voting, while Canning East recorded 96 percent. Hearing these voting percentages, one might assume that the elections in Bengal were conducted peacefully; however, the reality is that the public in Bengal came out to cast their votes at the risk of their very lives. There were attempts to hurl bombs, and blood was indeed spilled during the process.
