A proposed peace agreement between Iran and the United States appeared to remain on the table on Tuesday, despite US bombings of Iranian targets. According to a report by the Iranian news agency Tasnim, Tehran’s negotiators were seeking the release of around $24 billion in frozen assets held abroad as part of the peace process.
