मंदिर और ईदगाह से जुड़ा हुआ है. हर साल की तरह इस साल भी बकरीद पर नमाज के दौरान कानून-व्यवस्था का हवाला देकर 30 मिनट के लिए हिंदुओं के मंदिर आने पर रोक लगाई गई है. लेकिन इस बार इस पाबंदी पर महाभारत छिड़ गई है. पिछले 40 साल से शिवसेना यहां ‘घंटानाद आंदोलन’ करती आई है, लेकिन इस साल इस विवाद में बीजेपी और तमाम दक्षिणपंथी संगठनों ने एंट्री मार दी है.

The dispute centers on the temple and Eidgah located within the premises of Kalyan’s Durgadi Fort. As has been the practice every year, a 30-minute ban has been imposed on Hindus visiting the temple during the Eid al-Adha prayers this year as well, citing law and order concerns. However, this time, this restriction has sparked a massive controversy. For the past 40 years, the Shiv Sena has been organizing the ‘Ghantanad Andolan’ (Bell-Ringing Protest) at this site; however, this year, the BJP and various right-wing organizations have also entered the fray.
