Following the controversy over the NEET UG and CBSE exam results, the Union Education Ministry has taken responsibility for the lapses. The opposition has demanded the resignation of the Union Education Minister. In response, the ministry held high-level meetings and formed an expert panel comprising professors from IIT Madras and digital experts. This committee is tasked with resolving portal functionality issues, improving payment gateways, and increasing server capacity so students can access their answer sheets seamlessly. While millions of documents have already been uploaded and accessed, the ministry acknowledges that the transition to a digital system is a work in progress and technical lapses are being addressed.
