गाजियाबाद में ईद वाले दिन 17 साल के सूर्या चौहान की कुछ मुस्लिम लड़कों ने चाकुओं से गोदकर हत्या कर दी. मुस्लिम युवकों ने पहले सूर्या को चारों तरफ से घेरा और फिर उससे पूछा कि क्या तूने बकरा हलाल होते देखा है.. तुरंत असद ने चाकू निकाला और सूर्या के पेट में घोंप दिया..चाकुओं से ताबड़तोड़ हमला करके उसे लहूलुहान कर दिया. जिसके बाद गली में अफरा तफरी मच गई..

The youths first surrounded Surya from all sides and then asked him, “Have you ever seen a goat being slaughtered?” Immediately, Asad drew a knife and plunged it into Surya’s abdomen. They launched a frenzied knife attack, leaving him covered in blood, after which chaos erupted in the street.
