Tensions in West Asia have escalated once again as Kuwait and Bahrain activated air defense systems following reports of incoming missiles and drones. According to military officials, multiple hostile aerial targets were intercepted, triggering explosions and emergency alerts across the Gulf region. The United States military claims Iran launched ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain, both key US allies hosting major American military installations. US Central Command says most of the missiles were intercepted before reaching their targets.
Iran, meanwhile, claims it targeted strategic military assets linked to the United States in the region. Washington has rejected those claims and insists that its facilities remain operational and secure.
With Kuwait, Bahrain, and the Strait of Hormuz once again becoming flashpoints, fears are growing over a wider regional escalation involving Iran, the United States, and Gulf allies.
