People living in high-rise societies across Delhi-NCR spend crores of rupees on their apartments. Yet, in return, they receive neither adequate security nor any assurance regarding their safety. Recently, when fires broke out in societies in Noida and Ghaziabad, there were no arrangements in place to even extinguish the flames. In the Arihant Ambar society in Greater Noida West, a resident died after a chunk of plaster collapsed. The two instances I am highlighting here bear witness to the fact that your life is left entirely in the hands of God.
