A major accident has been reported at the famous Yashwadi Maruti Temple in Maharashtra’s Parbhani district after the roof of an under-construction assembly hall (Sabha Mandap) reportedly collapsed. The incident occurred when a large number of devotees had gathered at the temple on Saturday. Initial reports suggest that around 30 to 40 people may have been trapped under the debris. Several devotees were injured, and local reports have indicated possible fatalities, although officials have not yet released an official confirmation regarding the number of deaths or injuries. Rescue teams, police, district administration officials, ambulances, and emergency responders rushed to the spot and launched a large-scale rescue operation. Authorities are continuing efforts to clear the debris and rescue those trapped. Further details are awaited as the situation develops.
