A United Nations commission of inquiry has said more than 20,000 Palestinian children were killed by Israeli forces in what it described as “deliberate, targeted” attacks between October 7, 2023 and October 7, 2025. The 100-page report by the Independent International Commission of Inquiry, chaired by former Orissa High Court Chief Justice Srinivasan Muralidhar, said at least 20,179 children were killed and 44,143 were injured in the hostilities in Gaza during this period.
