A protest at Jantar Mantar has sparked controversy after allegations that Delhi Police assaulted two students who were distributing books and dismantled a temporary free library set up by protesters. Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke shared photos and videos claiming the students suffered injuries and alleged that books on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Bhagat Singh were thrown away during the police action. He has demanded the suspension of ACP Ajay Sharma and an independent inquiry. At the time of recording this video, Delhi Police had not issued an official response to these allegations.
