राम मंदिर निर्माण के लिए जुटाए गए चंदे में कथित गड़बड़ी के आरोपों पर बीजेपी नेता बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने कहा कि वह आज तक राम मंदिर के दर्शन के लिए भी नहीं गए हैं। उन्होंने दावा किया कि इस पूरे मामले में शुरुआत से ही कुछ न कुछ गड़बड़ी चल रही थी। बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने आगे कहा कि उन्होंने करीब चार साल पहले ही इस मुद्दे को उठाया था, जब इस पर कोई और खुलकर बोलने को तैयार नहीं था। उनका कहना था कि उन्होंने उस समय भी संभावित अनियमितताओं को लेकर अपनी चिंता सार्वजनिक रूप से व्यक्त की थी।
