After receiving relief from both the Supreme Court and the High Court, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay visited the victims of the Karur stampede on July 10. There, he handed over government job appointment letters to the kin of the deceased—a move approved by the Madras High Court. However, the High Court has clearly stated that these appointments will be temporary and subject to judicial review.
