The National Testing Agency has declared the NEET UG 2026 results, with 11.21 lakh candidates qualifying for undergraduate medical courses including MBBS, Dental, and Ayush programmes. The results were announced on time to ensure the medical admissions and counselling schedule remains on track. Women accounted for over 58 per cent of the successful candidates. Additionally, 138 candidates scored above 690 marks out of 720, with 19 candidates scoring above 700. Over 93 per cent of these top scorers were first-time aspirants, and 99 per cent belong to the 17 to 19 age group. The results follow a re-examination conducted after paper leak allegations.
