Delhi’s CJP protest has disrupted the capital for a second consecutive day, with 17 Delhi Metro stations remaining closed and thousands of commuters affected. The issue reached the Supreme Court on July 23 after the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) raised concerns over restricted access to the Supreme Court Metro station. SCBA President Vikas Singh urged the court to allow lawyers, court staff, and valid pass holders to use the station with security screening. Chief Justice of India Surya Kant said metro authorities had already been contacted and assured that if no solution emerged by afternoon, he would personally intervene in the matter.
