A controversy has erupted in Prayagraj over the convoy accompanying Umar Ahmed, son of Atiq Ahmed. According to reports, around 28 vehicles in the convoy allegedly crossed the Nawabganj toll plaza without paying the toll and broke through the barrier. Toll staff reportedly tried to stop the vehicles, following which allegations of abuse and threats were made. An FIR has been registered at Nawabganj police station against 28 named vehicle drivers and some unidentified persons.
