The US Commission on International Religious Freedom, USCIRF, has called for restrictions against the RSS and argued that members allegedly responsible for violations of religious freedom should face sanctions in the United States. The remarks come ahead of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s planned visit to New York on August 29, with USCIRF officials also highlighting allegations concerning religious minorities in India.
