India Today’s biannual Mood of the Nation survey captures public opinion on key political issues across the country. Conducted between July 1 and August 25, 2026, the survey spoke directly to 25,184 people across all Lok Sabha constituencies and states. The findings show 60% support for removing bogus voters through the SIR exercise, while 76% consider illegal immigration a serious threat. Meanwhile, 70% of respondents favour One Nation, One Poll. Responses from the CVoter regular tracker were also analysed for broader long-term trends, taking the total sample considered to 1,16,644 respondents.
