Nepal is facing a devastating flood and flash flood disaster, with the death toll rising above 400. The scale of destruction has created another major challenge — hospitals and morgues are struggling to accommodate the bodies being recovered from the affected areas.
The Bhote Koshi River and other swollen waterways have caused massive destruction near the Nepal-Tibet border, damaging roads, bridges, homes and vital infrastructure. Rescue operations are continuing, while several people, including Indian citizens, are still reported missing.
