External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said India remains focused on locating more than 315 citizens who are yet to be contacted following the devastating floods in Nepal. Around 85 Indians have been rescued, including 21 Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims who returned to Kathmandu.
India is also supporting Nepal’s rescue and relief operations with experts, Bailey bridges and essential supplies. Two relief aircraft have already arrived, while a third is scheduled to depart, and Indian medical teams and NDRF personnel remain ready to assist.
