RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat delivered a major message on Hindu Rashtra, Hindutva, religious diversity and unity while addressing a gathering in New York. Bhagwat said Hindu Rashtra does not mean excluding Muslims and stressed that a person who believes there should be no Muslims in Bharat does not represent the essence of Hindutva. He highlighted the idea of “different religions, one truth, humanity is one” and spoke about India’s tradition of unity in diversity, coexistence and universal oneness. Bhagwat also emphasized that the Indian diaspora must remain loyal to its Karma Bhumi while carrying the values of Bharat. The event featured representatives from different faiths and focused on harmony, peace and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
