In a deeply tragic incident, Chandigarh-based social media influencer Manjeet Kaur succumbed to severe burn injuries at PGIMER Chandigarh on August 26, nearly two months after she was allegedly abducted from Sector 34, assaulted, tied to a tree, and set on fire in Morinda. Following a complaint filed by her mother, Chandigarh Police have registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for kidnapping, murder, and joint liability against two suspects, identified as Shubhi and Pinda.
