आचार्य चाणक्य के अनुसार बलवान राज्य के साथ हर कोई संधि करना चाहता है। इसी वजह से राजा को प्रभु शक्ति यानी कोष और सैन्य शक्ति को सदैव बढ़ाते रहना चाहिए। आचार्य चाणक्य की इसी नीति के मार्ग पर भारत ने एक और कदम आगे बढ़ा लिया है। अब हम आपको भारत की सैन्य शक्ति से जुड़ा एक शुभ समाचार बताने जा रहे हैं। भारतीय एयरफोर्स ने खगंतक 243 नाम के स्मार्ट बम का सफल परीक्षण पूरा कर लिया है। इस बम का निर्माण मेक इन इंडिया के तहत किया गया है। अब आप यह भी कह सकते हैं बालाकोट पार्ट टू के लिए भारत ने बम तैयार कर लिया है। देश का यह नया बम इजराइल के स्पाइस बम से भी खतरनाक और विध्वंसक है। मित्रों, इस परीक्षण में खगंतक बम को वायुसेना के Sukhoi 30 विमान से दागा गया। टेस्टिंग में यह बम अपने टारगेट से ठीक ऊपर जाकर उसके गिरा। सुखोई के बाद मिग-29 और मिराज 2000 फाइटर जेट्स के साथ भी इस बम की टेस्टिंग की जाएगी। खगनंतक एक स्मार्ट बम है। यानी यह पारंपरिक बमों की तरह ऊपर से सीधे नीचे नहीं गिरता बल्कि इस बम के साथ पंखों वाली किट जोड़ी जाती है। जो बम को एक पंछी की तरह हवा में ही उड़ते हुए टारगेट तक ले जाती है। एक खगन तक बम का वजन 300 किग्र है। यह बम 140 से 180 कि.मी. दूर स्थित टारगेट को तबाह कर सकता है। भारतीय वायुसेना को इस नए बम की जरूरत क्यों पड़ी? इस सवाल का भी जवाब हम आपको देंगे। लेकिन पहले इस बम के नाम का अर्थ समझना भी जरूरी है।

Khagantak is a smart bomb; unlike conventional bombs that simply fall straight down, it is equipped with a winged kit that allows it to glide through the air towards the target, much like a bird. Each Khagantak bomb weighs 300 kg and is capable of destroying targets located 140 to 180 kilometers away.
