Varanasi, Ballia, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Lucknow, Mirzapur and other areas have reported flood-like conditions, with thousands of people affected. In Varanasi, the Ganga crossed the warning level, while the Varuna River also overflowed, affecting several localities. Boat services have been suspended and relief and medical teams have been deployed.
The bulletin also covers Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s launch of the Uttar Pradesh Outsource Services Corporation (UPCOS) digital integration initiative, aimed at protecting the rights and welfare of outsourced employees.
Meanwhile, a video from Mainpuri has sparked attention after DSP Ashok Kumar Singh was seen reacting angrily to people recording him at a postmortem house. The officer allegedly told those making the video to make it viral and send it to Akhilesh Yadav.
