Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, is facing serious questions after the death of a woman and her newborn allegedly due to negligence. Amid protests over the hospital’s poor arrangements and administrative action, Congress MLA Abhay Mishra has made a shocking allegation about the hospital mortuary. Abhay Mishra has alleged that the bodies of beautiful women are sexually assaulted during the post-mortem process inside the mortuary. The allegation is extremely serious, but it has not been independently verified. Sanjay Gandhi Hospital CMO Alakh Prakash has rejected the MLA’s claims and termed them baseless.
