भारत का रक्षा निर्यात वित्त वर्ष 2025-26 में ₹38,424 करोड़ के ऐतिहासिक रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर पहुंच गया है, जो कि पिछले 12 वर्षों (2013-14 में ₹686 करोड़) की तुलना में लगभग 50 से 56 गुना अधिक है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भारत के 80वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस (15 अगस्त 2026) के भाषण में लाल किले से घोषणा की कि भारत अब हथियारों के बड़े आयातक (Importer) की छवि को पीछे छोड़कर दुनिया के लगभग 100 देशों को सैन्य उपकरण और आधुनिक हथियार निर्यात करने वाला एक बड़ा वैश्विक केंद्र बन चुका है।
India’s defense exports have reached a historic record level of ₹38,424 crore in the 2025-26 financial year—an increase of approximately 50 to 56 times compared to the figure from 12 years ago (₹686 crore in 2013-14). In his speech from the Red Fort on India’s 80th Independence Day (August 15, 2026), Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India has shed its image as a major arms importer and has emerged as a significant global hub exporting military equipment and modern weaponry to nearly 100 countries.
