The investigation into the six-year-old death case of Disha Salian is now in the hands of a CBI officer who has been part of the investigative teams for high-profile cases such as Hathras and RG Kar. The CBI had registered an FIR regarding Disha Salian’s death on September 13. Now, SP Seema Pahuja, posted with the Special Crime Unit at CBI headquarters, will oversee the investigation. She will be assisted by a CBI team that includes Deputy SP Puran Kumar.
