World View With Amit Kumar Palit | Nepal Flash Flood Live Updates : नेपाल में बुधवार को अचानक आई बाढ़ ने देश के सेंट्रल इलाके के तीन ज़िलों को तबाह कर दिया। इस बाढ़ में कम से कम 178 लोगों की मौत हो गई, जबकि 800 से ज़्यादा लोग लापता हैं। अचानक आई बाढ़ में पुल बह गए, पावर प्रोजेक्ट्स और रास्ते में आने वाली हर चीज़ बर्बाद हो गई।
नेपाल के विदेश मंत्री शिशिर खनल ने गुरुवार को कहा, “हज़ारों परिवारों ने अपने घर खो दिए हैं और अभी तक लापता हैं। हम अभी भी यह पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं कि यह आपदा कितनी बड़ी है।”
Nepal was battered by the flash floods that struck three districts of the country’s central region on Wednesday, claiming at least 178 lives while over 800 remain missing. The flash floods swept away bridges, destroyed power projects and everything that came into its way.
“Thousands of families have lost homes and are missing as of now. We are still trying to ascertain the full extent of the disaster,” Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal said on Thursday.
