Bhopal witnessed a major lawyer-police standoff after advocate Rakesh Rawal alleged that he was assaulted by police personnel. Lawyers staged an eight-hour protest, blocked roads and climbed onto a water tanker demanding an FIR. Police later booked the SHO and two constables, while an FIR was also registered against Rawal over alleged misbehavior and obstruction.
