The Jamui minor case in Bihar has triggered fresh questions after Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav accused Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary of revealing the identity of the minor survivor. Tejashwi shared a screenshot of an alleged post from the Chief Minister’s official social media account, which appeared to show the survivor and her family. He cited the POCSO Act and questioned whether the post could reveal the child’s identity. The post is no longer visible on the Chief Minister’s profile. The case concerns the alleged sexual assault of a minor girl in Jamui on September 19. Police have arrested five people so far, including three minors.
