A PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court against CEC Gyanesh Kumar over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The plea seeks criminal action, an SIT or judicial probe, and a forensic audit of election data systems. Meanwhile, protests against SIR and demands for the CEC’s resignation have intensified, while the Election Commission has rejected the allegations.
