India’s Neeru Dhanda has created history at the 2026 Asian Games by winning the women’s individual trap shooting gold medal with an Asian Games record score of 28/30. Dhanda missed just two shots across six series to secure the historic victory, becoming India’s first individual women’s trap gold medallist at the Asian Games. Her triumph also gives India a landmark individual gold in the competition.
