दिल्ली के तिलक नगर में सड़क निर्माण की गुणवत्ता को लेकर हुए विवाद के बाद PWD मंत्री Parvesh Verma और AAP विधायक Jarnail Singh के बीच विवाद बढ़ गया है। 27 सितंबर को तिलक नगर में सड़क निर्माण के निरीक्षण के दौरान एक युवक को थप्पड़ मारने का वीडियो सामने आने के बाद सवाल उठ रहे हैं। प्रवेश वर्मा की ओर से घटना को लेकर सफाई दी गई और आरोप लगाया गया कि सड़क निर्माण में कथित गड़बड़ी और कमीशन को लेकर विवाद हुआ था। उनका यह भी कहना है कि उनके परिवार को लेकर अपशब्द कहे गए, जिसके बाद गुस्से में उन्होंने प्रतिक्रिया दी। वहीं, इस पूरे मामले ने मंत्री के व्यवहार, जनता के सवालों और जनप्रतिनिधियों की जवाबदेही को लेकर नई बहस छेड़ दी है।
