Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, witnessed heavy rainfall. This pre-monsoon rain in the mountains led to a drop in temperature. The weather took a sudden turn in the afternoon, bringing relief from the humidity and making conditions pleasant; however, this rainfall has also triggered landslides.
