बंगाल की खाड़ी से उठे भीषण चक्रवाती तूफान ‘मुरासू’ ने आंध्र प्रदेश के ओंगोल तट के पास दस्तक दे दी है। 120 किमी/घंटे की रफ्तार से चल रही हवाओं और मूसलाधार बारिश के चलते आंध्र प्रदेश, तमिलनाडु और ओडिशा के तटीय इलाकों में स्कूल-कॉलेज बंद कर दिए गए हैं। एनडीआरएफ और एसडीआरएफ की टीमें अलर्ट मोड पर हैं।
Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘Murasu’ made landfall near Ongole on the Andhra Pradesh coast, bringing heavy rainfall and wind speeds gusting up to 120 kmph. Educational institutions have been shut down across coastal districts in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha as NDRF and SDRF teams step up relief and rescue operations.
