The opposition parties said Manipur, which has been witnessing violence for 50 days now, needs a face that unites and that an all-party delegation must visit the state to give the people a “healing touch”. The remarks were made at an all-party meeting in Delhi, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, to discuss the situation in the violence-hit state.
