IS ARUNACHAL EXPENSIVE?
If you are on a strict budget, consider taking a train to Guwahati to start your journey. And eat more local food. Because food is extremely economical here. You’ll find good veg food as well, very easily. All local restaurants serve thali, which comes in both veg and non-veg. The only place where food is expensive, is at the homestay itself. But it’s an experience none the less. I love home-stays for just that reason.
