With less than 15 days to go for the Maharashtra state elections, the Mahavikasagari and Mahayati alliances are making a series of promises to the voters. The Mahavikasagari has announced financial assistance of 3000 rupees per month for women, free bus rides and affordable health insurance up to 25 lakh rupees. The Mahayati has promised 2100 rupees per month for women and a pension for senior citizens. Both alliances have also promised farm loan waivers and financial aid for the youth.
