Voter ID Linked with Aadhar : सरकार-EC का फैसला..राहुल-ममता का खत्म बहाना? | Election Commission
फर्जी वोटिंग को रोकने के लिए चुनाव आयोग ने आधार कार्ड से वोटर कार्ड को जोड़ने का फैसला लिया है. चुनाव आयोग और यूनिक आइडेंटिफिकेशन अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया के अधिकारियों के बीच मंगलवार को बैठक हुई, जिसमें आधार से वोटर कार्ड को लिंक करने पर सहमति बनी. इसे संविधान की धारा 326, आरपी कानून के मुताबिक जोड़ा जाएगा. आधार से वोटर-आईडी को जोड़ने की पहल चुनाव आयोग ने 10 साल पहले की थी, लेकिन मामला अदालत में जाने के बाद अभियान को रोकना पड़ा था.
To prevent fake voting, the Election Commission has decided to link voter card with Aadhar card. A meeting was held between the officials of the Election Commission and the Unique Identification Authority of India on Tuesday, in which a consensus was reached on linking voter card with Aadhar. It will be linked according to Article 326 of the Constitution, RP Act. The Election Commission had taken the initiative to link voter ID with Aadhar 10 years ago, but the campaign had to be stopped after the matter went to court.
