Reliance Jio has quietly pulled the plug on two of its most affordable prepaid plans, raising the entry-level bar for millions of subscribers. The telco has discontinued its Rs 209 pack (22 days, 1GB/day) and the Rs 249 pack (28 days, 1GB/day)
-Telcos wants recovery on their investment and Analysts said the move will boost average revenue per user (ARPU) for the telecom operators, who are using this strategy in the absence of a headline tariff hike, which is expected next year.
