The same US decision that terrorist-host Pakistan was celebrating has now dealt Pakistan a major blow. Pakistan, which had been playing in America’s lap for the past few days, has now been dealt a blow by Trump that even it could never have imagined. A few days ago, the US declared the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and its wing, the Majeed Brigade, as terrorist organizations. Pakistan was considering this decision a historic victory. Pakistan and China had proposed adding the Balochistan Liberation Army and its wing, the Majeed Brigade, to the banned list. However, the US, Britain, and France blocked this proposal. These countries stated that there was insufficient evidence linking the BLA and the Majeed Brigade to al-Qaeda and ISIS. Consequently, the proposal presented by China and Pakistan was blocked. This US move is a major blow to Pakistan.
