“My son once said he wanted to become an IPS officer, but he turned into a monster.” These are the words of Bankatlal Dhanotia, father of Piyush Dhanotia, the accused in the Indore MBA student murder case. He has demanded the strictest punishment for his son and called for a fast-track court trial.
Meanwhile, the victim’s father has alleged that the accused received protection and questioned why he surrendered in Mumbai instead of Indore.
Police say the murder took place on February 10, and the accused was arrested from Mumbai on February 14. Forensic analysis, CCTV footage, and digital evidence are being examined. Authorities have assured that a chargesheet will be filed soon.
